Job Description
Requirements for Appointment:-
- Must be a Kenyan citizen;
- A Bachelor’s degree in Civil engineering or equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution;
- Be registered as a graduate member of engineer’s registration Board of Kenya;
- Must possess computer proficiency Certificate;
Duties and Responsibilities:-
- Manage, design, develop, create and maintain small-scale through to large-scale construction projects in a safe, timely and sustainable manner;
- Conduct on site investigations and analyze data (maps, reports, tests, drawings and other);
- Prepare structural designs and engineering drawings for buildings, roads, water and waste water facilities;
- Preparation of bills of quantities and estimates for road works and other infrastructural projects;
- Review of structural designs and drawings submitted by private developers for approvals;
- Supervision and inspection of roads and building construction works within the Municipality;
- Inspection of facilities and preparation maintenance procedures for completed infrastructural projects;
- Conduct site supervision for Municipal projects including roads, water and building projects and preparation of status reports;
- Carry out technical and feasibility studies and draw up blueprints that satisfy technical specifications;
- Monitor progress and compile reports in project status; and
- Comply with guidelines and regulations including permits, safety etc and deliver technical files and other technical documentation as required.
